Triple Mobile Positioner is designed to test three mobile devices simultaneously, along with three base stations. This configuration enables faster and more efficient execution of multiple over-the-air (OTA) tests without interrupting the production workflow. Orbis developed this system from concept to installation within three months, demonstrating both speed and reliability during development.
Automated Movement: Base stations and devices can be automatically repositioned using an intuitive interface or via REST API. This allows test engineers to define repeatable and precise test cases.
Tilt Simulation: The system supports tilt simulation for base stations, replicating real-world antenna positions during testing.
High Accuracy: Absolute position sensors maintain positioning even after power cycles, eliminating the need for manual recalibration and reducing errors while saving time.
Triple Mobile Positioner is designed for seamless integration into 5G OTA chambers, wireless test chambers, and custom OTA test setups. It supports both Sub-6 GHz and mmWave testing, making it suitable for high-end smartphone validation. Orbis systems also offer customization options, allowing the positioner to be configured to meet specific laboratory and project requirements.
